Effective and consistent cleaning is a simple yet powerful form of preventative maintenance.
We perform sub-floor (plenum), hardware, surface, and post-construction cleaning. We are familiar with working in highly-sensitive areas. Working around mass quantities of wires and cables is a common practice for our crews -- and they work without causing downtime. With Air Plenum, you are always up and running.
Sub-Floor (Plenum)
Since 1975 we have been cleaning this critical area, complying with strict OSHA standards. Beneath floor tiles we have found:
- Metal shavings
- Wire debris
- Debris from operators
- paper scraps
- coffee cups
- cigarette butts
- straws
- rodents
We have also discovered water and oil leaks and loose wiring connections.
In addition, air flow beneath the floor caused by HVAC systems can propel dust and metal particles that wreak havoc on high and low voltage wiring.
We will test for air cleanliness as well. Data will be sent to a certified analyst. The lab will give you an Air Testing Report, which can be kept on file for possible future insurance claims. You'll have proof your sub-floor environment meets all ASHRAE standards for clean rooms.
We can also perform a Laser Particle Counter Test, which, once passed, will certify that your data center is in compliance with Federal Standards.
